Field Maple or Hedge Maple. Lovely hedge plant, for a spot in the sun or half shade, either goes well. The young leaves have a red shading. Suitable for a moisture-holding and permeable soil, from calcareous to acidic soils.
Pruning this shrub twice or 3 times a year is enough to maintain a good height.
